LTC was founded with a simple mission: to help homeowners who felt like they were out of options. Basement waterproofing and drain tile systems can be costly, and with so many choices, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Too often, homeowners are pressured into expensive solutions they don’t actually need.

Luke saw this firsthand and knew there had to be a better way. He started LTC to provide honest, affordable solutions for basement water issues—ranging from free, practical tips to full drain tile systems.

Owner Luke Colten began his journey in the waterproofing industry in 2003, and by 2007, he became lead foreman at Beaver Basement Water Control—a respected name in the industry since the 1960s. He continues to collaborate with the Beaver team, incorporating their proven, high-quality systems into LTC’s waterproofing solutions.

Luke Colten
Founder & CEO
Luke is dedicated to helping homeowners protect their properties, but outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family in the Saint Paul Metro area. An avid fisherman, he makes the most of his time at his cabin on Lake of the Woods.

Raised in the Saint Paul Highland area, Luke now calls the north Metro home. Though he grew up in the city, he’s always been drawn to the open space and quiet of the country.

Known for his hard work, honesty, and consistency, Luke takes pride in every job he does. What he enjoys most about his work is connecting with homeowners—and meeting their four-legged family members along the way.
